I'm not a good blogger!

Lets face it, I'm just not a good blogger! I blog fairly faithfully for a while and then I fall off for a couple of months. I just get busy and forget! I wish I didn't thought because I love to document Wade on here!! Speaking of, Wade is 11 months! Well, actually he is fixing to have his first birthday on the 30th! I can't even believe it! It makes me want to cry just thinking about it. Really, it's a bittersweet time. On the one hand I'm sad that my baby is already so big, on the other he is at such a fun age. Into everything, very vocal, very snuggly, very loving, and has a fun personality. Right now he is:

He is crawling supper fast
Standing on his own but doesn't want us to know he can do it
has been pulling up on things for months now
has taking ONE step by himself but only because Nonnie and Papaw were REALLY working with him otherwise he throws a fit about it.
has six teeth
his hair is getting long and very blonde
He will walk holding our hands but has NO INTEREST in taking a step on his own
He goes back and forth between a momma's boy and daddy's boy
He loves this baby toy he found about two months ago and he takes is EVERYWHERE!! It's a little soft lamb rattle.
He has no interest in getting rid of his paci
He has been off of formula for 2 months now
He loves his whole milk
He only gets two bottles a day, morning and night
He loves drinking out of a straw, the straw sippy cups are awesome
The boy LOVES a bath, i can run bath water and he makes a b-line to the tub because he thinks HE is getting in. Then he cries when he realizes he's not.
He LOVES chicken, strawberries, and spaghetti, if I would let him have these three things every day of the week he would be ok with that.
He HATES juice, water or milk is all he prefers
He laughs when someone else laughs
He is ALWAYS all smiles all the time (even with tonsillitis and an ear infection)
Loves to help unload the dishwasher
We turned his car seat to face forward last sunday and he really thinks he is hot stuff now. He loves to look out the window.

He is growing into such a sweet little boy and I can't wait to see what this next year holds for our little family of three.

On to other important events in our life, I graduated two weekends ago!! It feels fabulous to know that I can just come home and be with my family and not worry about homework, papers, or presentations due.









Wade was happy I was done too!!

I am working at Indiana Avenue Baptist Church as the College Minister's Assistant. I am loving it!!! Brody and I had been praying for the perfect job for me that would allow me to help out financially AND still spend time with Wade. The Lord is so faithful and presented this job to be at the perfect time. Life is good and God is better! I'm so thankfully for all these blessings! I HAVE A LOT

of catching up to do!! It's been a while since I've blogged. School and Mr. Wade have kept me pretty busy these last couple of months! I think the last time I blogged I was dreading school and taking Wade to daycare. I am glad to say after two more finals I will graduate and Wade LOVES daycare. The girls there are SO WONDERFUL to him and he loves them. And he has two little boy friends in there that he plays with all the time!!

Wade is up to a lot these days!!

He has two bottom teeth and I think he's working on cutting his top teeth

He is pretty much crawling, he crawls then scoots for a while then crawls but the point is, he can get into EVERYTHING!!!

He is eating a lot of table food already.

He is sleeping wonderful at night, all not long most of the time but every now and then he wakes up at 4 to eat.

I caught him standing up in his crib this morning, which means he is pulling up on things!






He loves to beat on things, give this kid a remote and a table or a spoon and a pot and you have a drummer!

He loves giving deep passionate kisses, we're talking grab on to some hair and open his mouth kiss.

Over Easter we had my family in for the weekend, and then Easter Sunday we had Brody's family over too for a big shrimp boil outside! It was so much fun to have everyone together and the weather was beautiful!!





And the last little bit of news I'll leave you with is two weeks ago my sister-in-law had her second baby!!! Little Archer Matthew!! He is so cute!! We're so proud of their sweet little family!!

School and daycare

Well, we made it through our first week of school and daycare! I waited to write this post because I knew if I wrote it on the first day this post would have been more depressing and negative than this one may be! Even with that said I must say it was the hardest thing I've ever had to do...to just leave my child with strangers...women he had never seen before, that didn't know what cry was his hungry cry or sleepy cry. I BALLED the whole way to school and then some, but the look on this face when I went to pick him up was priceless! He was so happy to see me and I him!!! Thankfully, I don't have to be at school all day everyday so most days he only has to be there a few hours. And as the week went on I was very impressed with the women there! They all seem so caring and good with him! I still have this hint of guilt when I leave him though. I guess I just feel guilty because I never had to go to daycare. I got to stay at home with mom and have pancakes for breakfast, bake cookies after lunch, and play in my own sand box in our back yard. I just keep telling myself it will be good for him to be socialized with other children. School is going to be a lot of work this semester. I really like the classes I'm talking but they are all very time consuming! I still have to take the two finals for my online courses too! Prayers are needed for those because if I fail the finals on those I fail the course and therefore will not graduate in May but in August!! All in all, I know things will work out and Wade will adjust well but it's still hard! Praying for another smooth and short week!!

4 months

My precious baby boy is 4 months old! I'm a little late considering he was four months on December 30th, but I wanted to go ahead and blog about it so I wouldn't forget all the fun things he is doing!!

Master Wade here is what your up to this month!!

1. You sleep from about 10:00 p.m to 7:30 or 8 a.m! (mommy is loving this)




2. You started laughing this month and it's the sweetest sound in the whole world!! Of course I have to act like an idoit to get you to laugh!




3. You're trying SO HARD to sit up and it makes you mad when you figure out you can't and I'm not paying attention to help you.




4. you lean forward in your carseat all the time now trying to sit up like a big boy




5. You're finally eating more than 4 oz at time and going 4 and 5 hrs at a time now




6. You Are My Sunshine is your favorite song, no matter how mad you get if I sing it to you it soothes you, you love it right before I lay you down in bed!




7. You're in 6 month clothes due to your length




8. You LOVE your play gym on the floor




9. You'll sit in your bumbo for about 15 mins and then get mad and want to get out




10. You love your baths! If I even mention the word bath you grin! You kick and splash around!




11. You still love to ride in the car, your usually alseep within 5 mins of leaving the house.




12. Your still sleeping in your bouncer in the crib due to reflux! We hope to have you in the crib sleeping good by the end of this month




13. You start daycare next week so mommy can finish up her last semster of school and I tear up everytime I think about it!




14. You make mommy's day!!

I love you sweet boy! Can't wait to see what the rest of this month and months ahead bring us!!

Christmas Pictures

Last weekend Wendy and I got the boys together to take our Christmas pictures! We had a good time, minus the boys whining about needing a drink to help make them smile! Miss Brooke was quite fun to watch, she really loves the camera! She would turn her head and pose or clap her hands together under her chin...It was too cute! They turned out pretty good if I do say so myself!

I think we're almost ready for Christmas! We have almost all of our gifts bought and wrapped, all the decorations have been up for weeks, the Christmas movies and music have been playing and we are anxious to see all of our family! I LOVE the holidays!

Thanksgiving

We had such a wonderful Thanksgiving!! It is always a blessing to be with all of your family!! Mr. Wright, Wade and I headed to Stamford wed. night and stayed with my parents and we got up and had Thanksgiving lunch with my family in Abilene! (brother, sister-in-law, dad, mom, sister, wade, me, mr. wright)

Then we drove back to Lubbock about three and had dinner with Brody' family and our sweet friends the Sinclairs!

Wade loved all the noise and attention but by the end of the day he was worn out from traveling and being past around!!

Friday we spent the day getting the lights on the house and the tree up! Wade LOVES the Christmas tree! We set his bouncer in front of it and he falls asleep ooking at it!! Next year robably won't be anything like hat haha! \

The Holidays are always so much fun and my favorite time of the year! Having my own family makes them even better!!

A week at home, and a deer

Last Tuesday Wade and I made the trip to Abilene with Mike to visit Grammy and Poppy! He had a meeting there so mom met him and Wade and I stayed the week! I needed to get some of my online classes done and it was just nice to visit them without cramming everything into a weekend! We got the lights on their house, shopped around Abilene, and just lounged around and watched Christmas movies and went to the Nutcracker (a tradition the Lundgren girls have)!! It was so wonderful!! However, we we're so excited to see Mr. Wright Sunday when he came to pick us up!

We didn't get our things together until after dark on Sunday and Mr, Wright was tempted to stay but in the end decided to go ahead and get on the road. So about 9 when pulled out of the driveway. Mr. Wright had partaken in one or two adult drinks with Poppy so I needed to drive! I was fine with that as we make the trip monthly and I could probably drive it with my eyes closed! However, it is SOO dangerous this time of year with all the animals out at night, especially deer! Grammy had mentioned to me before we drove off to pay close attention to them and not to drive too fast! So about a 5 miles out of town everything is going good but I was approaching a car and had to dim my lights, due to the matter i failed to see a bug eight point buck coming from the bar-ditch until he was at the shoulder of the road and he ran right into my new car, or I ran into him shall i say! Thankfully, the Lord was watching over us and we were not hurt!! I just cried because it hit the front passenger side of the car which was Wade's side! I don't want to even think about how bad it could have been! Other than a HUGE dint in the door and a broken head light everything else was fine! Dang deer know how to do some damage though! $2000 bucks and a new door later my car will look new again!! Needless to say we will be leaving to and from Stamford EARLY on Thanksgiving!!
